Important Information

Program Operations

Runs 3:30 - 6:30 (Alvin ISD) and 3:15 - 6:30 (Pearland ISD and Pasadena ISD), on-campus at your child's school. Once your child is enrolled, your point of contact will be your school's Site Manager.

Pick-Up Information

Pick-up locations vary by campus — email your Site Manager for details.

Transportation Changes

Contact your campus front office to update transportation arrangements.

Attendance / Absences

Notice should be provided by 2:30 pm to both program and school staff.

Medications

Guardians must inform staff in writing; medication provided in original packaging with a Medication Permission form.

Inclement Weather

Services follow district closure guidance; refunds are not issued for weather-related closures.

Students should bring homework materials, school supplies, a water bottle, and a book.

Premier Academy does not operate during school holidays or major breaks. Alvin ISD programs do not operate on early release days. Pasadena ISD programs remain open on early release days.

Parents may contact their campus Site Manager directly or message staff through Brightwheel during operating hours.

Our daily schedule includes 30 to 45 minutes of designated homework time Monday through Thursday during the first block of programming. Staff monitor students and assist when needed, but do not provide one-on-one tutoring, grade assignments, or correct homework. Parents remain responsible for reviewing completed work.

Yes. Students at Nichols Mock, Bel Sanchez, and Don Jeter Elementary receive snacks through the Alvin ISD Nutrition Department (Title I campuses). All other campuses receive snacks provided by Premier Academy such as Goldfish, Cheez-Its, pretzels, Pirate’s Booty, animal crackers, and similar options.

Yes. Families may request year-end payment statements for tax purposes by emailing the Program Director or Assistant Program Director.

Yes. Staff receive training in safety procedures, CPR and First Aid, classroom management, positive behavior management, de-escalation strategies, special needs awareness, and supervision.

Yes. All staff complete FBI fingerprint background checks through the school district and are vetted by both Communities In Schools and the partnering school district.

Whenever possible, students are grouped by age or grade level for age-appropriate activities, supervision, and engagement.

Premier Academy staff work directly with campus personnel to safely transition students from dismissal to the after-school program each day.

Legal documentation must be provided to the program so staff can properly follow custody or pick-up restrictions. Please email the Program Director or Assistant Program Director.

Students are dismissed directly to Premier Academy staff after school. Transportation between schools is not provided.

Most communication is sent through Brightwheel, email, or text. A monthly newsletter is also emailed to subscribers.

Contact the Site Manager as soon as possible. Lost and found items may be kept at the campus for a limited time.

Yes. Families may choose the days that fit their schedule; both the school and Premier Academy must be notified of any schedule changes.
